Supporting Women In Houston's Legal Community
Founded in 1976, the Houston Association of Women Attorneys (AWA) is a non-profit 501(c)(6) organization composed of attorneys, judges, and law students who are interested in promoting women and the interests of women in Houston’s legal community. The members of the AWA host CLE and networking events, screen judicial candidates and provide judicial recommendations, and provide programming for Houston law students.
The AWA membership year begins on September 1. Sign up for membership now! The AWA hosts a membership kickoff in September, a holiday party in December, the AWA Judicial Reception in January, and the Premier Women in Law Reception in March, among other member events.
