

The AWA Foundation is a 501(c)(3) dedicated to providing scholarships to outstanding students in Houston law schools.


Scholarships
Each year the AWA Foundation awards scholarships to deserving second- and third-year women law students in Houston, Texas. The awards are presented at the AWAF Premier Women in Law Luncheon on April 11, 2023. Check back soon for the scholarship application.
Fellowships
The AWA Foundation Pro Bono Fellowship Program is a full-time paid attorney position with one of the AWAF’s Fellowship partners, the Houston Volunteer Lawyers and Tahirih Justice Center. Each organization will interview and select one fellow from the AWAF 2022 3L scholarship applicants who indicate an interest in dedicating their first year of practice to pro bono service.

The Association of Women Attorneys Foundation is excited to announce the first ever Business Development Bootcamp taking place on January 25, 2023.
During this unique, half-day event, women associate attorneys will have the opportunity to network with and learn from several accomplished in-house women attorneys on a wide range of practice-specific topics as well as general best practices for engaging with clients.
